Nigerian media creative and model Denrele Edun has opened up about his sexual orientation and personal experiences with love.

According to Edn, love didn’t always favor him, as his affection and commitment were often not reciprocated by the people he cared about. He said, “I haven’t been very lucky in love. People like us put so much love into the world, but we don’t really get it back. So, I found it in different people and places, and I realized at this point let me just love myself.”
The socialite further spoke about his past relationships, noting that none of his close emotional relationships ended the way he had hoped. “None of my special attachments turned out the way I had hoped. I just realized that it’s better to love yourself. ” he said.
He went on to clarify that he doesn’t hold himself responsible for his romantic disappointment, adding, “I’m the easiest person to love. I have a lot of love to give.”
Denrell also recalled a recent relationship that ended in failure and explained how his efforts were often met with excuses. “Recently, I was in a relationship with someone and I realized that as soon as I put in the effort, people would make excuses. That’s what had always happened in my love life. When I would explain things clearly, they would confuse me. I would show commitment, but they wouldn’t reciprocate. So, I realized it was just convenience for that person,” he said.
In response to a question about his sexuality, Edwin revealed that he has experienced “The best of both worlds” All while remaining confident and unapologetic about who you are.
