Anambra Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo asserted that no one can stop his reelection in the November 8, 2025 governor poll.
Naija News Sorudo reportedly celebrated his third anniversary in a media chat that a consensus was reached between NDI Anambra (the people of the nation) that his party, the Grand Alliance for National Progress (APGA), has given a dividend to democracy and should get another opportunity in the next election.
The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) challenged the opposition, saying he had not heard of any opponents who opposed his reelection.
According to Sorudo, the Southeastern people can vote for either party during the national elections, but are loyal to the APGA seats regarding governors and chairs of local governments.
He said “If there is an election, I mean there will be an election, if I am a candidate, I will be in the ballot and I ask: Who else is running? Which party is sending candidates?
“I haven’t heard of anyone so far unless the person is going to fall from somewhere.”
Meanwhile, Sorudo declared Anambra to be a Christian country.
During the Rehabilitation and Saving Crusades, hosted by the Dunamis International Gospel Center on Wednesday night, the governor said all traditional therapists in the state are currently escaping prisoners.
Soludo stressed that his government is committed to taking action against those who spread malicious intentions in the region.
The former governor, chairman and board of directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) further explained that these traditional therapists are fleeing because light and darkness cannot coexist.
