A Nigerian woman shared her emotional academic journey online, which attracted attention.

She withdrew from the 400th level to the Federal Technical University (FUTA).

She restarted her education at Leading City University.

After a Nigerian woman shared her emotional academic journey, the Nigerian woman moved to many people, which led her to withdraw from the 400-level Federal Technical University (FUTA) and restart at Lead City University.

Her inspiring story posted on X (formerly Twitter) has sparked widespread reactions, with many netizens congratulating her on her final degree.

Called @ayomie on X, she revealed that she was completely exhausted and overwhelmed in her studies at Futa. Despite her struggle, she couldn’t leave herself until she stumbled upon a life-changing tweet in 2017.

The virus tweet was originally posted by politician and entrepreneur Oloye Akin Alabi:

“You’re 30, so you don’t want to take a 5-year course because after completion, you’ll be 35. Whether you go back or not, you’ll be 35 in 5 years.”

According to her, the words gave her the ability to make bold decisions when her second semester of 400 begins at the Lead City University restart.

A few years later, this difficult choice paid off. @Ayomie successfully graduated from Lead City University and received her NYSC call letter, completing her academic pursuits.

She wrote to express her happiness:

“I was exhausted and tired of everything. Then one Thursday, I saw this tweet on WhatsApp. Things changed for me. That day, I made the hardest choice. I left Futa in 400 liters, the second semester, and started again in Lead City. Today, I graduated, I am a graduate. To serve my country.”

Her story spread quickly, and many Nigerians drowned out her comment section to praise her heroism, perseverance and determination to start over and end the strong.
