Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Mohbad, said he paid 16 million pathologists for his son’s second autopsy.
“With a full sincerity, I paid the first 16 million to the pathologists. After that, I spent nearly 2 million. So if the pathologists can deny my claim, believe me again.”
Some people say it’s 12 million I’ve paid, but I still tell you now that I’ve paid 16 million. ”
This revelation came a month after Dr. Uwom Eze’s independent autopsy and forensic medical review, which failed to determine the cause of Mohbad’s death.
In June 2024, the coroner’s court magistrate in Ikorodu, Lagos State obtained permission to hire a licensed pathologist for this follow-up examination.
