Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, describes himself as “boring”.
The music star made the comments during a recent appearance on Close Friends Only Speed Round with entertainer Asagi, explaining that celebrities lead normal lives like everyone else and often do everyday things that may not be exciting to their fans.
During the conversation, Asake asked him: “What’s a fun fact that fans don’t know about you?”
Wizkid responded, “I feel like I’m bored. I get up at 6:30 in the morning and take the kids to school. We [celebrities] Normal people too, man. “
When talking about the three most important things in his life, the singer mentioned his daughter Molayo, music and God.
Wizkid also shared his thoughts on sustaining a long-lasting music career, citing authenticity, strategic collaborations and hard work as key factors for longevity in the industry.
