    • Gospel singer Opeyemi Babalola has shared a deeply emotional experience that brought tears to his eyes.
    • He described feeling humiliated by a wealthy employer who treated him poorly.
    • The experience made him feel worthless and inspired him to strive for financial success.

Gospel singer, Opeyemi Babalola has narrated a deeply emotional experience that left him in tears and feeling humiliated.

He recounted how a wealthy employer once treated him and made him feel worthless, a moment that inspired his lifelong determination to never be poor again.

He shared his story on X and wrote: “I once worked with a rich man. One day I had to go to the bank ‘for company’ and the bank ran out of cars and he was going to town. My only option was to go with him. He reluctantly said I should get in the car but I couldn’t wear shoes because I would stain his car.

“I was sitting in the back seat of the car with my shoes on my legs from Oba Island to FCMB Bank in Adeshida, Oba, Akure. I cried that night and I promised myself that I would not be poor and I would never treat others badly.

“To this day, I respect everyone who comes to me, regardless of age. I only hate the APC and their supporters because those people are terrorists.”
