In other news….. Nigerian socialite and entrepreneur Shina Peller unexpectedly rewarded a policeman with a simple act of kindness, which attracted social media attention.

The viral video shows Peller playingfully asked a duty officer, who was later identified as Mr. Isaac if he could save him money. Isaac reached into his pocket without hesitation and took Peller a 500-picture prompt, saying it was “from the heart.”

Peller was moved by gestures, praising the official for questioning the general belief that police only demanded bribes. He immediately asked for details of the official’s account and transferred 200,000 times on the spot, praising him as an example of integrity to celebrate.

Peller explains that Nigerians often focus on negative encounters with law enforcement, and true goodwill rarely draws attention. “Everyone is talking about the bad things about the police,” he said in the clip. “But this is an officer who gave me ₦500. Thanks, I love you, sir. I will double it for you.”
