According to Boxing, a tragedy occurred Saturday in a chaotic cowboy dance at the Obijackson Centre in the Amanranta area of Okija, Anambra state. The heartbreaking incident took away no less than 22 people’s lives and brought family and community to mourn.
One of the griefs was the husband of one of the victims, Uchenna Nwaudo, who expressed deep sorrow over his wife’s death, lamenting that he had warned her not to participate in a bad fate incident.
The stampede occurred at the venue of a charity program, aiming to distribute palliative medicines, including 25 kilograms of rice, a bottle of vegetable oil and cash assistance.
