Tobi Mohammed, a Nigerian singer and music director, is widely regarded as Alhaji Popping, recently shared a painful experience that almost killed him.
During a appearance at an AdeSope live show, he detailed his and his colleague Rayce survived a terrifying ambush at Bauchi State in 2017.
He revealed that their vehicle was driven ten times by the attackers, but fortunately, they managed to escape.
Alhaji Popping said in a recent AdeSope live show: “Rees and I were shot in the car in Bauchi in 2017 by a man in military uniform. If my mom looked at this, she would call me and pray for me because I didn’t tell her about the incident.
“We were shot. The bullet went into the steering, the wheels, the AC, the boots, but no one touched me. The experience was one of the things that brought me very close to God. Because I realized that everything that happened to me was an expression of grace.”
