U.S. President Donald Trump said he has no plans to deport Prince Harry in a legal battle for his immigration status.
“I don’t want to do this,” Trump said Friday. “I’ll leave him alone. His wife had enough problems. She was terrible.
Recalling Harry’s immigration status is the subject of a lawsuit in Washington, D.C.
The conservative think tank Legacy Foundation claims he may have covered up illegal drugs that should deny his U.S. visa.
In his memoir, he details how he took cocaine multiple times as a teenager and tried marijuana and mushrooms.
The estate enumerates its own admissions submitted against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as it attempts to publish Harry’s visa records.
Then it was suggested that Trump’s former Democrat Joe Biden gave priority when he moved to California after “Megxit”, when he and Meghan completely quit the royal duties.
The think tank has previously sought to seek disclosure of Harry’s visa documents through U.S. Customs and Border Protection measures, which said the Duke of Sussex needed to release them.
Meanwhile, it seems Trump had changed his mind when he proposed last March that he could expel the Duke.
“We have to see if they have some knowledge of drugs and if he lies, they will have to take appropriate action,” he told GB News.
The U.S. State Department said a conviction for drug crimes could make visa applicants unqualified.
The estate attempted to obtain information from the Department of Homeland Security through a free information request before submitting its case to the court. Harry is not a party in the lawsuit.
This week, Judge Carl Nichols asked the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide revision details in Harry’s visa records to be interpreted to some extent as a strong suggestion.
Judge Nichols had previously ruled on September 9 that secret records should be kept private.
Harry’s immigration status is not known, whether he represents a regular or diplomatic visa or a green card.
