Popular content creator Ola of Lagos shares how his former act of kindness cost him a lot, putting him in debt of 18 million.
In an online conversation, influencers revealed that he signed a business deal because he wanted to be “too good”, which was a move proposed in advance later.
“I used to do a business, not really out of compassion, but out of being too good, which brought me 18 million debt. Imagine having to pull $18 million out of your pocket to settle the debt you shouldn’t have incurred in the first place. It doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t make sense.” He said.
Ola explained that this experience taught him a lasting lesson about setting boundaries when helping others.
He added that although he still showed love on the street, he now does it with wisdom and caution.
“This experience made me decide that it would never be too good again. He said.
