If the twin brothers have found @d@d on a mountaintop in Georgia after missing the plane.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Scott Kerlin, 42, was charged with misdemeanor.
“Kerlin is a volunteer firefighter in Towns County who took photos and shared publicly for the De@Th scene of Lewis Twins,” GBI said in a statement Tuesday.
It is not clear whether Kerlin attended the crime scene in his official capacity or whether he went there himself.
According to GBI, the bodies of Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis were both found by a group of hikers on Mount Bell before noon on March 8.
Both teenagers had gunshot wounds, and the offices of GBI and Towns County Sheriff conducted a preliminary investigation.
However, the official and causal way of death has not been released, and medical examiners say other forensic examinations are required after the brothers’ autopsy is completed.
The families of the two brothers insist that they do not think de@ths is a murderous £r-su! cide, because the brothers are very close. They urged the authorities to continue their investigation.
“My nephews won’t do that! They come from a loving family, the twins want to have a future and they dream of starting their own clothing line,” said brothers’ Aunt Yasmine Brawner after launching Gofundme to raise funds for the funeral.
Brawner and other family members said the brothers had no connection to Bear Mountain, 90 miles north of their home in Lawrenceville.
Family members also said the brothers planned to fly to Boston the day after the body was found and found the air ticket in their pockets.
“Something happened on Mount Bell, ending the lives of 19-year-old Qaadir and Naazir, and needs further investigation,” Brauner said.
