On May 1, Nigerians exchanged a happy new moon greeting, and the nightlife heavyweight Cuban chief pastor not only shared with kindness-he had a harsh warning, especially for the rich and famous.
He said in the already sensational Instagram post:
“If you are famous, if you are a famous businessman, please don’t spew money. The EFCC won’t joke.”
The chief’s pastor admitted that he was “almost sentenced to jail last year” and advised celebrities to reconsider their party habits. He added: “I never went to spray fuel again, whether it was US dollars, euros, naira or pounds.”
It was reportedly a few days after the EFCC accepted public digital electronic currency in terms of Naira abuse.
Now, trampling or squirting money at events (often seen as a cultural resilience) is now receiving serious attention from the authorities.
He also did not endure the consequences:
“If you have received an invitation from the EFCC, please go to memorialize it… If you spray money, the EFCC must serve you.”
The chief pastor said he is now focusing on “another action” to close the event – minus the air cash bundle.
