Actor and businessman Bobby Maris, husband of Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo, has expressed his support for women opting for cosmetic surgery.
In a video shared widely on Instagram, Maris encouraged women to overcome their fears and consider body contouring surgery, stressing that such procedures can boost confidence and enhance beauty.
He said there is nothing wrong with women choosing surgery to improve their figure.
Maris said:
“If you can afford it, go for it. Face your fears and be brave, strong, beautiful, and attractive!”
His remarks come after his wife Uche Ogbodo announced that she underwent 360 Lipo surgery, a procedure designed to reduce fat and contour the body.
Before the surgery, Uche asked fans on Instagram to pray for her. In one video, she appeared happy and even danced to Laurence Oyole’s gospel song “Favour” while wearing a hospital gown.
She wrote:
“Today happened, my Lipo 360 surgery. Please pray for me. I am not afraid! I trust my doctor and will be praised in the end! Amen.”
This is not Uche’s first plastic surgery. Earlier this year, she had another liposuction procedure aimed at enhancing her figure.
The actress has previously shared the challenges of dealing with postpartum body changes and explained how the procedures helped her regain her confidence.
