Ola Olukoyede, chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), vowed to hunt down any party members who have been found to have been stolen, including members from the All Proppersives Congress (APC).
Naija News It was reported that Olukoyede revealed this when he appeared on the TV show “Politics Today” on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Olukoyede said he is not part of any political party and that the EFCC is responsible for doing the right thing regardless of political affiliation.
He said “If we find that your money has been stolen, whether you are from APC, PDP, Labour, SDP or NNPP, you will have questions to answer.
“If members of the APC steal money, you will have a case to answer; if members of the PDP steal money, it’s like sandpaper cannot be digested in your stomach.
“So it’s our responsibility to do the right thing regardless of political affiliation. For us, did you allegedly commit a crime? Did we find the question you need to answer? What is driving our process and action.
“I am non-political, I am not part of any political party, and as far as I know, we are not doing our work in a way that goes against our mandate or legal process.”
