A series of tragic events occurred in the Barcelona local government area of Plateau State, killing dozens of residents, Police Inspector General IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM. AIG District 4, Aig Zachariah Fera and Commander Police Staff Academy Jos Jos, Aig Nwonyi Polycarp Emeka.
After the IGP arrived in Plateau State, he visited the State Government Building, where he sympathized with the state governor, his priest Caleb Mutfwang and the good people of Plateau State. In discussions with Governor Mutfwang, the IGP condemned the attack and assured his Excellency, the Nigerian police force, will do its best to ease rising tensions and bring the perpetrators of these heinous acts to justice.
The IGP also seized the opportunity to hold a brief meeting with tactical commanders to review strategies for deploying police operations personnel and operating assets provided to further expand the security available in the state. The Deputy Inspector General of the Police Office, the President of Police, is responsible for the operations department Dig Dig Kwazhi Dali Yakubu, MNI, and oversees operations aimed at restoring peace and tranquility.
