Nigerian actor and film producer, Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele D Icon, has denied claims that he is bedridden.

In a video posted on Wednesday, November 19, the actor assured fans that he was healthy and urged them to ignore the misinformation.

Speculation about his health began after an emotional video of his colleague Kemity was posted on Facebook. In the video, she claimed that the actor was seriously ill and unable to walk.

Speaking about the situation, Itele explained that the video shared by Kemiti was recorded a few years ago when he was actually ill. He emphasized that the video did not reflect his current state.

He assured supporters, reiterating that he was fine and asking everyone to ignore false reports.

“Attention my KOLEOSO family. Fake News Alert. Please ignore any fake news about me. I am fine, healthy and working as always. Some people make up lies just to get attention, don’t be fooled. I am fine and my energy is solid,” he wrote in the caption.
