    • 2Baba denies that he is a womanizer, saying that he is just a “lover boy” who loves deeply.
    • He also spoke about the challenges of being a father and regrets about the limited time he has with his eight children, and described his wife Natasha as a strong and talented woman, while revealing that he was shy by nature.

Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has opened up about public perception of his personal life, saying he is often misunderstood.

In an exclusive interview with Voice of Nigeria, the award-winning singer spoke about the long-standing perception that he is a womanizer. According to him, the label does not accurately reflect who he is.

“The biggest misconception about me is that I’m a womanizer. I like women; I’m just straight. But I’m a lover’s boy. I love hard,” he said.

2Baba also opened up about fatherhood and said it was one of the most touching and challenging parts of his life. The singer, who has eight children, said he feels both grateful and sad when he reflects on not being able to spend time with them due to the rigors of his career.

“I have eight children now. I feel blessed and happy, but the sadness comes from not having the opportunity to spend as much time with them as I should. Sometimes that’s important to me,” he said.

Despite this regret, he praised his children, calling them talented and a source of joy.

The music icon also addressed public comments about his wife Natasha, specifically claims that she is controlling. He dismissed that notion, describing her as a strong and intelligent woman while noting that public scrutiny can sometimes be harmful.

2Baba further revealed that he is shy by nature and prefers a quiet lifestyle away from the spotlight. He explained that while his career requires him to be outgoing, he often enjoys spending time alone, relaxing or being in nature.

“The biggest misconception about me is that I’m a womanizer, people think I am, but I’m not”
