Desola Afod, wife of Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, has sparked reactions online after she responded to criticism over a video she shared with Fuji singer Malaika.

The mother-of-four posted the video on her Instagram page, showing her friendly moment with the singer.

However, the video caught the attention of one social media user, who accused her of publicly embarrassing her husband. The critic claimed that Desola was “dating” the singer and suggested that she keep the relationship a secret.

Comments read: “It’s not fair to embarrass your husband in public. You’re dating him! Keep it a secret.”

In response, Desola dismissed the accusation and hit back at critics, saying people should only hide relationships if they are not proud of their partner. She made it clear she had no intention of explaining herself or debunking any rumors.

She wrote: “If it’s your turn, hide it when you’re dating someone better. Aye gbogbo yin maa baje ni. I won’t reveal anything,” her message ended with “Halo for halo.”

Her response quickly gained traction online, with many fans praising her confidence while others continued to discuss the situation.
