This clarification comes after images of a swollen stomach fragile on social media.
In a video shared on Instagram on Friday, Arinze confirmed he was very healthy. He noted that the photos in question were captured in the film collection and did not accurately portray his health.
In addition, he expressed his gratitude to those he contacted and warned the public not to defraud victims of the scam, urging them not to donate to his alleged medical expenses.
He said: “I want to thank fans, friends and colleagues around the world for contacting me via phone and WhatsApp messages to see what I’m doing.
“As you can see, I’m fine. Please, I’m as fit as a violin. Those pictures taken from the movie suit fly around. I don’t know why some people decided to cause some pranks to them.
“I will continue to do my job and I will continue to contribute to my industry and the growth of Nigeria. God bless you. I love you.”
