Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has once again become a topic of discussion on social media after sharing his emotional apology to influential and rising actress May Edochie.

The actor begged May to forgive his past harsh comments on her in a video posted on his official Instagram page. He continues to describe her as a kind woman who continues to flourish despite the challenges of life.

In the title that comes with the video, Maduagu wrote:

“I’m sorry for every negative thing I say to you. You’ve gone through a lot, but only God’s grace keeps elevating you and making you shine around the world. I keep apologizing every day because you shouldn’t get all the negative things I say. I don’t care that anyone is not satisfied with my apology.”

In addition to apologizing, Maduagu also admitted that he regretted having Linc Edochie’s former partner Yinka Theisen speak with May during the open conflict with the Edochie family.

The actor further spoke about his financial inducing support for Yinka, insisting that he never collected money from her.

“I challenge Yinka to provide evidence or receipts and say she has paid me any money. Yes, many of you are shocked, Abi? I’ve been seeing comments about Yinka paying me this money, and, well, I’ve never collected a Naira. He clarified.
