Justice Io Ijelu of the High Court of Lagos State was convicted on Thursday, February 27, 2025 and sentenced Indian Chandra Singh to 10 years in prison.
The Lagos Regional Bureau of the EFCC Economic and Financial Crime Commission filed a lawsuit before the Ijelu justice on Thursday, November 24, 2022, alleging that alleged the retention of stolen property and bribery to retain n816,361,361,386.75 (eight hundred and six million, three million, three million and six million, three million and six million, three million and six million, three million and six million, three thousand, three million and six million)
