INEC has formally notified Natasha Akpoti to recall the petition.
Nigeria News Nalin It is reported that the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) has formally informed Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, that her voters filed a petition asking her to recall to the National Assembly.
INEC confirmed in a letter to the suspension of the senator that it had received contact information from the petitioner.
Akpoti-uduaghan is currently suspended for six months for serious misconduct and violation of regular Senate orders.
She also accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment.
