
The family of Uyo University graduate Ms. Inioubong Umoren refuted the claim that her daughter’s organ was harvested after a brutal murder in April 2021.
Recall that Iniubong Umoren is a 26-year-old philosophy graduate from Uyo University and was murdered by Uduak Abasi Frank Akpan on April 29, 2021.
Akpan was later convicted of R@PE and Murd£r and was sentenced to DE@Th by the Akwa Ibom State High Court on August 4, 2022.

In supporting her statement, Akwa IBOM Prosecutor Chief Mr Johnson Itim described the crime as a loneliness committed by Uduakabasi, who attacked Iniubong after she refused the unprotected S£X.
“He killed her in anger, buried her in a shallow grave and fled.
Mr Abdullah added that the allegations of organ harvesting had no basis in court proceedings. “Neither the prosecution nor the defense counsel mentioned Senator Akpabio in connection with the case. The certified autopsy report is openly accessible and confirms that all internal organs are intact.”
