Israeli government says “elimination” of Iran’s top leader Ayatollah is now an official target
“This man who is willing to attack us must not keep his life. It’s a problem to stop this man, eliminate him, is part of the campaign, and we now know his role because before, he was talking about destroying Israel.”
Kamenei added that Khamenei “cannot continue to exist,” exacerbating what observers call a dangerous shift in Israel’s strategy from targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure to opening up regime beheading statements.
The statement was after Iran’s missile strike that damaged four Israeli locations, including Soroka Medical Center in Belshba, one of the country’s largest hospitals. Iran said its “main target” is nearby Israeli military and intelligence facilities.
