A Catholic priest is receiving a warm welcome after he is accused of whipping a 50-year-old teacher in a school he supervised.
Pastor Jude Muokwe, the pastor of the Roman Catholic Church, allegedly had a one-dollar Mrs. Ikeorah Maureen in her classroom during class.
The victim was a widow from the village of Ifitedunu Umuanugwo. She is the primary school teacher of Angel Elementary School in Ifitedunu.
The incident occurred on February 12, 2025.
Some sources said the teacher raised questions after the pastor violated the contract agreement he signed with the teacher for the student’s course fees.
This allegedly caused the priest to whip her.
After the incident, the teacher was grandmother, crying while telling what happened.
She said: “He came and started fl0gg me and SL@pping me. He claimed I called the teacher to attend the meeting. I didn’t call.
“Look at my face, look at my back, see my legs.”
