A 34-year-old man was arrested after his girlfriend was arrested on Sunday, April 6 in the early hours of Brandfort, South Africa’s Free State province.
According to Sergeant Palesa Thabane, police officers were called to the residence of Nonzamo Park in Brandfort at 2:45 a.m. Upon arrival, the officer found the body of a 38-year-old African woman lying on the bedroom floor.
“The body was covered with blood and her upper arms and face were seriously damaged,” Taban said.
Preliminary investigations show that the woman was allegedly accused of her unfaithful boyfriend repeatedly being @ten.
“The victim was declared de@d at the scene and the police are investigating the murder. They seized a stick covered with blood,” Tabain added.
The suspect, identified as the victim’s boyfriend, was detained and is expected to appear in court on Monday.
