Nigerian Afrostar, Adedamola Adefolahan popularly known as ‘Fireboy DML’ has shared an insight into his love life, describing it as quite chaotic.

During a recent appearance on the Reprezent podcast, the singer revealed that the chaotic dating culture in Lagos was the inspiration for his hit song “Ashawo”.

“I wrote ‘Ashawo’ to reflect the dating scene in Lagos, where I live. It’s chaotic,” he said.

Speaking about his personal experience, Fireboy added: “My love life is chaotic, but I have great relationships with women. When I’m stressed, I usually find balance through them.”

In the past, the artist has mentioned that he’s even willing to use his experience of heartbreak as inspiration for creating more authentic music.

Currently, Fireboy DML has not revealed that he has a girlfriend or a romantic relationship.

In other news… A Nigerian woman shared a harrowing video on TikTok claiming her life took a dramatic turn for the worse after attending a popular Hallelujah Challenge prayer meeting hosted by Pastor Nathaniel Bassey.

In a tearful video posted by username @mirriam231, the woman recounted how her problems seemed to multiply after she participated in the spiritual program and questioned whether others had experienced similar frustrations.

    She wrote in the caption:

“Is it just me, or did things get worse after the Hallelujah Challenge? Devil, you are a liar. God is still good and faithful. God please help us.”

The post attracted widespread attention, with some users encouraging her to keep her faith, while others shared contrasting experiences of increased challenges. One commenter wrote:

“It got worse, losing everything I was afraid of losing…I was sleep deprived, never missing a day, and things got worse as a result. I was angry and cried a lot.”
