Today, the men were sentenced to 20 years and 18 years in Sheffield Crown Court, and the judge said they posed “serious psychological harm.”
During the five-week trial, the court was told that during six months in South Yorkshire Town, a group of people called her “fresh meat.” They used alcohol and cigarettes at the House party to put the girls into practice so they could commit abuse. Senior investigator Kath Blain described the case as one of the most painful cases she has ever investigated. The third defendant, Jacek Brzozowski, 35, was dismissed the allegations he faced at the trial, inciting children to engage in sexual activities, but admitted to permeable S3xual activities earlier this year. Broth National Brzozowski, the Polish country of Rawmarsh, Rotherham, was released on bail and will be sentenced on April 14. Judge Sarah Wright told Sheffield’s Houphouet and Catcliffe’s Sigiyo of Rotherham’s Catcliffe’s that the girls have been suffering. Judge Wright told the complainant that they watched the sentencing hearing on the video link, and they showed “a measure beyond measure” by reporting abuse and telling the jury when they were vulnerable girls living in children’s homes. On Monday, Houuphouet and Sigiyo were convicted of numerous crimes, including R@PE. When prosecutor Gordon Stables began the trial last month, the jury told the complainant that the complainant lived in the children’s home when the defendant and other colleagues became friends with them. Mr Stables said these were “all older men in their twenties, or their only intention was to engage in penetrating sexual activities with them because they knew they were no longer than the age of consent.” The prosecutor said: “The defendants gained the trust and confidence of the girls by drinking and giving them cigarettes at the House party and giving them contemptuous attention.” He said: “Both girls have the conditions to have regular intercourse with the same male.” Mr Stables said: “The clear intended intention was to ensure that the girls entered and remain compliant so that they could surrender easily and not resist the sexual advancement and activities that inevitably ensued. “Psychologically, the girls felt that sexual behavior was the way they paid their debts that they owe to the defendant to provide alcohol and tobacco. “But once men are sexually satisfied, these girls are seen as having reached their goal – at least temporarily – and then they are often overlooked and expect to go home on their own. “In this way, (girls) have sexually modified in a dependency environment,” he said, who called them “fresh meat.” Mr Stables explained how Houuphouet met two girls in the center of Rotherham on a night 10 years ago and raped one of them in the alley that night. He said Houuphouet brought both girls to a house in town and introduced them to Sigiyo and other men who were undoubtedly present. Mr Stables told the jury that it was clear from the outset that Houuphouet chose a girl “as victim” and Sigiyo chose another girl.
