Nollywood actress and producer, Iyabo Ojo has recently become a trending topic on social media following the release from prison of her fellow actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.
Baba Ijesha was freed on Friday, November 14, 2025, after more than three years in prison on sexual assault charges.
An old video of Iyabo Ojo has resurfaced online after actor Yomi Fabiyi announced that Baba Ejesha has obtained clues through appeal.
Back in 2021, Iyabo had spoken out about the sexual assault case involving Baba Ijesha and the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. During an Instagram Live session, she expressed her opposition to his release.
In light of Baba Ijesha’s recent posts, social media users revisited the video, recalling Iyabo’s previous comments on the matter.
