JAMB launched a bait website to get cheats as more than 200 students sat down for simulations.
No less than 211,000 candidates from across Nigeria took part in the 2025 unified Level 3 Entrance Examination (UTME) simulation on Thursday, and the Joint Admissions and Admissions Committee has confirmed

Professor Ishaq Oloyede said during the surveillance exercise at the CBT center in Bwari, Abuja, Abuja, Abuja, Ishaq Oloyede said the simulation inspection was successful and the results will be released on Friday, April 11. We are already studying them. We want to compare with the second and third batches to make sure everything is working. ” Oloyd said.
He explained that mock UTME is not only for candidates, but also for the board to test new innovations and identify strategic opportunities for areas to improve before the main exams.
He added: “We are getting better as students become smarter. We use this model to try new strategies and learn from them.”
Jamb has cracked down on exam malfeasance with bold actions, revealing that it has launched a bait website to bait candidates try to gain an unfair advantage through Rogue Platforms.
Oloyede revealed that after paying money to the fake location, about 180 candidates have been identified, hoping to receive the leak.
The Registrar warned: “We have opened our own Rogue website. As of this morning, about 180 students have paid the price. Trying to cheat is already a crime and we will handle them firmly.”
“We will cancel their results – UTME and go directly. We want to send a clear message that exam fraud will not tolerate. ”
He warned candidates not to register through an agent or share their registration number, noting that UTME is not a school-based exam.
He said: “Some schools also want to boast about the high scores, even if the process is flawed.
Professor Oloyede also lamented how some fraudsters deceived some desperate candidates who charged up to 30,000 forgery aid.
“Some of them are paying for things that can never be used. When I look at the people who pay us bait sites, I just smile.”
He reiterated JAMB’s commitment to fairness, transparency and integrity during Nigeria’s third enrollment process, urging candidates to rely solely on their study work and stay away from illegal shortcuts.
The Board assured candidates and the public that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure a smooth and reliable 2025 UTME.
