JAMB has banned UTME registration center night practices.
Nigeria News Nalin Report Joint Admissions and Admissions Committee (JAMB) Final warning has been issued to certain registries, finding that night, night, candidate registration is conducted 2025 Unified Level 3 Enrollment Inspection (UTME) Quote concerns about candidate safety and security.
In a statement signed by JAMB Public Communications Adviser Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board acknowledged the need to accommodate a large number of candidates, but insisted that such services should not compromise security.
“Although JAMB appreciates the enthusiasm of these centers to accommodate as many candidates as possible, this should never come at the expense of the candidate’s personal safety and security.” Statement Reading.
The Examination Board identified ten registration centers in multiple states involving unauthorized night registration and ordered them to immediately stop practicing or face sanctions.
The centers listed include: Thomas Adwami University, Kwara State, CBT Center Otukpo, Benue State, Ebenezer International School, Rivers State, Jigawa State School of Education, Jigawa State, Lafiagi Emirate IT&Innovation IT&Innovation Hub, Kwara State, Kwara State, Zulqud Consult Ltd (Zulqud Consult Ltd (Zulqud Consult Ltd) CBT Center), Fct. , Klinnicapps Academy, Cross River State, Sani Mikaila Comprehensive Academy, Plateau State, Bibi Metro Technology Co., Ltd., Cross River State, FZX Media Consulting Limited, Cross River State
The statement read further: “The publication is the final warning because no further notice will be issued until decisive action is taken.”
Jamb said it would not tolerate any violation of its registration guidelines and vowed to take appropriate measures to take appropriate measures against any centers engaging in exploitative practices.
The board eventually reiterated its commitment to ensuring fairness, transparency and strict compliance with regulations, urging the center to prioritize candidates’ well-being over financial gains.
