JAMB has suspended two computer-based testing (CBT) centers to violate the registration process of 2025 UTME.

The suspended CBT center is the CBT center of the Federal Institute of Education (Technology) Potiskum, Yobe State and Benue State Otukpo.

The Joint Admissions and Admissions Committee (JAMB) has suspended two computer-based testing (CBT) centers to violate the registration procedures in the 2025 Unified Level 3 Enrollment Inspection (UTME).
The decision was announced in a statement issued by JAMB spokesman Fabian Benjamin on Tuesday in Abuja.
According to the statement, the suspended CBT centers are the Federal Institute of Education (Technology) Potiskum and CBT centers in Otokepo, Benu.

The suspension begins on Tuesday, February 4 and will last for 14 days until Monday, February 17.
The statement partly wrote: “This suspension is a security measure that follows major procedures and harms implementation to prevent illegal acts and ensure the integrity of the information provided by the board in any competition.”
The board explained that the CBT Center must require candidates to manually enter their details in paper forms and forms filled out by candidates as proof of the information they provide before uploading them to the registration portal.

However, despite the complete brief introduction of these guidelines, some CBT centers have ignored these guidelines.
“Considering any center of similar actions, this suspension is a harsh warning of any center. The statement added:” Any center uploaded by the blank template will face cancellation in the future and will be banned from participating in the board of directors. “
2025 UTME registrations starting on Monday, February 3, 2025 will last until Saturday, March 8. The CBT Centre has been approved for registration, and candidates have registered for UTME of JAMB ADMINESTER, an entrance examination for the third-level institution in Nigeria.
These centers have been permitted and recognized by JAMB.
