Nollywood actor-turned-Fountain of Life Church Pastor Jimmy Odukoya on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, marked the 20th anniversary of the death of his mother, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, and expressed deep personal condolences.
Respected Nigerian pastor Pastor Bimbo Odukoya tragically died in the Soso Soso Airways Flight 1145 crash on December 11, 2005 at the age of 45. Looking back two decades since her death, Jimmy shared his emotions and memories on social media.
He said time flies and stressed that he feels her presence every day. Jimmy also recalled her prophecy about his future ministry, which has come true. “Guess what?! You were indeed right! I ended up becoming a pastor,” he wrote.
In his address, he emphasized her grandchildren’s familiarity with her legacy and reiterated his commitment to continuing the work she started.
“Know that I carry on your legacy and hope I make you proud… Love you, Mom! Now and forever… PS, say hi to Dad for me,” Jimmy added.
Fountain of Life Church, currently led by Jimmy, was originally founded by his late parents.
