Actress Juliana Olayode has praised her fellow actress Mo Bimpe for her impactful work.
Juliana praised Mo Bimpe for using her platform to educate the public about human papillomavirus (HPV) through her film The Cure.
She also urged women to get tested for HPV, stressing the importance of prioritizing their health and well-being.
Olayode wrote on Instagram: “I first heard about HPV when @mo_bimpe told me she was going to make a film about it. I had never heard of it in my life. Thank you for using your platform to raise awareness about HPV @mo_bimpe, I’m so proud of you and your work.
“One thing I learned from The Cure is that ignorance comes with a price. I also learned that as a society we need to stop shaming people and when it comes to marriage we have to have hard conversations and be willing to give grace to our partners. When we have a problem or challenge we should work through it together with love. I could go on and on.
“We all need to get tested, especially women. Let’s get tested for HPV and beyond that, let’s do what we can to take care of our health and stay healthy.”
