Police rescued a young man from an angry mob in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday morning, April 29, 2025 for suspected theft.
The incident took place at the Abak Road overpass in front of the Christian Church.
When a group of policemen stopped and intervened, the mob was ready to let the suspect’s tires burn.
“Jungle justice is avoided in this way. At the Abak Road Overpass, before the Christian Church, God generously gave this young man a chance. The police passed and intervened. This is how jungle justice was.
