The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has appointed Air Force Brigadier General ehimen Ejodame as the new Director of Public Relations and Information.
He replaced Deputy Air Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa, who has been transferred to the Ministry of Defense as Director of Civil Relations.
According to a statement from NAF Headquarters Commodore ejodame, He is an experienced military officer with a good background in logistics, strategic planning and defense management.
He is an alumnus of the 45th regular course of the Nigerian National Defense Academy (NDA).
Air Commodore Ejodame holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Transportation and Logistics and a PhD in Information Systems and Management Studies from the University of Sheffield, UK.
He also received logistics training at the United Nations Center for International Peace Support Business in Kenya and completed courses on supply chain optimization and decision-making in Portugal.
He graduated from the Armed Forces Command and Staff Academy in Jaji and the Air Force War Academy in Makurdi, where he is recognized as the best graduate participant.
In addition, he won the National Defense Personnel and Air Personnel Award from the Abuja National Defense Academy.
Air Commodore Ejodame has served as a mentor at the Armed Forces Command and Staff Academy in Jaji and the Abuja National Defense Academy.
He is also the first president of the School of Social and Management Sciences of Kaduna Air Force Technical College (AFIT), and previously served as Director of Procurement at AFIT.
In addition, he served as a defense adviser to Nigeria at the High Commission of Nigeria in Malaysia, where he also gained recognition from nine countries, thereby strengthening Nigeria’s defense relations in the region.

- Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM)
- Members of the Air Force War College and National Defense College
- Member of the Chartered Logistics and Transportation Institute
- Fellow of Nigeria College of Purchase and Supply Management
His appointment as a spokesperson for NAF brings extensive experience and expertise to the role, allowing him to position him to enhance the Air Force’s public relations and communication strategies.
