Juventus Football Club split the way with manager Thiago Motta after a tough nine months.
The club announced that former player Igor Tudor will serve as head coach for the rest of the Serie A season.
Thiago Motta’s tenure and challenges
Motta’s helm timing has some major challenges, including several heavy losses, notably a 3-0 win over Fiorentina, 4-0 in home match against Atlanta.
These results put Juventus in fifth place in Serie A, just one point ahead of the Champions League qualifiers.
Igor Tudor’s interim appointment and objectives
Igor Tudor, 46, returned to Juventus with a solid coaching background.
His experience includes management teams such as Hajduk Split, Galatasaray, Udinese, Hellas Verona and Marseille, as well as short work at Lazio.
He also worked as an assistant coach at Juventus for Andrea Pirlo’s 2020-21 season.

Tudor’s main goal is to stabilize the team’s performance and aims to get the top four in Champions League football next season.
His first game will be his home game against Genoa in Serie A.
Juventus seeks permanent manager
As for the long-term future, Juventus is taking a careful approach by temporarily joining the Tudor dynasty.
This gives them the opportunity to explore other management options in the future.
Some whispers are that the club may follow some well-known people throughout the summer, such as Antonio Conte, Gian Pierro Gasperini or Roberto de Zebi.
