A Kenyan woman, Melvin Owuor, was arrested for her alleged four-year-old son in Nairobi.
Bureau of Criminal Investigation-DCI said in a statement on Sunday, February 16, 2025 that Melvin was arrested along with the tragedy of minors D3ATH.
According to DCI, the boy reportedly succumbed to the harm caused by his mother after he got himself dirty while answering a natural call.
Melvin, accompanied by her friend, brought his son’s lifeless body to December 9, 2024.
However, after reporting the incident to police instructions, the two failed to return and then turned off their phones.
The suspicious behavior prompted the sending person to report the matter to the Moffmu Police Department, causing alarm among the authorities.
“The suspect, Melvin Oval, reportedly brought the child’s body to Mother Lucy’s Hospital on December 9, 2024, with the child’s body being taken to Mother Lucy’s Hospital. morgue, but failed to return after reporting the incident to police, the statement reads.
“It was shocking that Melvin and her friends shut down their phones, causing suspicion to report the incident at the Mowlem police station.
“From Dandora with Crib Hawkshaws and from Nairobi region, they have built shocking details about the last moments of the children.
“Although the suspect initially claimed that the child died while asleep, the minor was found to succumb to the harm caused by his mother after the alleged incident, the boy reportedly stained himself in response to nature’s call.
