Police in Awashi, Kisumu County, Kenya have arrested Sharon Auma, a woman, for posting a picture of herself on WhatsApp, waving a Canik Pistol and threatening to break up with any man.
The Crime Research and Intelligence Agency and its fellow Detective Officials Bureau (DCI) (DCI) together with her friend Nancy Atieno Obura arrested Sharon for their illegal possession of guns.
“The arrest comes after receiving a report from Sharon Auma, she decided to raise her WhatsApp identity and posted a picture of herself wielding her pistol while ominously warning that anyone who dares to abandon her will face serious consequences.”
The detective acted in a shocking position, moved in quickly and arrested the salon in the town of Avasi.
After interrogation, Sharon revealed that the weapon was located in a rented two-bedroom house belonging to her friend and was co-deputy.
A subsequent search of the residence found that Kannick’s pistol was cleverly hidden on his clothes and wrapped in empty magazines in a basin under the bed.
In addition, the officer also retracted a forged motorcycle board with the number 805m.
Both suspects are now in custody and are being processed, awaiting their arraignment.
Authorities continue to pursue more prospects to arrest more people with gun ownership.
