Legendary midfielder Kevin de Bruyne announced he will leave Manchester City this summer to end his decade-long stay in Etihad.
De Bruen’s contract will expire at the end of the season, and the Belgian midfielder has confirmed that he will not sign a new deal.
De Bruyne, 33, wrote in an emotional letter to fans on Friday: “Dear Manchester, seeing this may be something you realize. So I will get to know it directly and let everyone know that this will be my last few months as a Manchester City player.
‘This will always be our home.
“We cannot thank the city, clubs, staff, teammates, friends and family for these 10 years.
“Every story is over, but it’s definitely the best chapter.
“Let’s enjoy these last moments together!”
“A lot of love, KDB.”

Since arriving from Wolfsburg in 2015 for £52m, De Bruyne has established himself as one of the greatest players of all time.
He has played the lead role in Manchester City’s dominance over the past decade, winning six Premier League titles, five Calaba Cups, two FA Cups and of course the Champions League, completing the treble in 2023.
In 413 games in all games for the city, De Bruyne scored 106 goals and scored 174 assists.
