Keyamo’s insistence on the legitimacy of the “Leaders Academy” is questioned.
Minister of Aeronautics and Aerospace Development San Festus Keyamo has come under fire for his role in establishing a “Leader Academy” in the Delta State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Keyamo touted the state’s final decision-making body, which was rejected by Senate Vice President CFR Obarisi Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, an unconstitutional mistake.
According to a statement signed by Hon. (Chief) Keyamo insisted on Ochuko Ivwurie’s insistence, despite the fact that the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) and other stakeholders rejected the legitimacy of the “Leaders Academy”, which clearly demonstrated his disregard for the party’s constitution.
“So you are not a serious politician, and everyone has a political gift,” the statement said.

The statement also questioned Keyamo’s leadership style, saying: “Yesterday, I heard you say that even if your private pressure group is not recognized by the constitution, is it a single-person rule that deserves recognition? This level of thinking should be below you. Every party member is a “leader” in his space in the context of the party, but positive influence in this area increases leadership. Jealousy and hatred cannot replace influence-based leadership.”
The statement further described Senator Omo-agege as a “grassroots marshal” and dismissed Keyamo’s claim that the senator worked with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as “Hogwash”.
