The popular Nigerian skit maker and actor Victor Nwaogbu has been widely known as Nkubi after controversial posts by Nigerian women.
A Facebook user identified as Chinonso uploaded a photo of Nkubi’s daughter titled “Main Labubu”, a thing that many find offensive and insensitive.
The post quickly attracted widespread criticism, with many users condemning the comparison and urging Nkubi and his family to take legal action to resist favor.
In response to strong opposition and growing speculation about possible lawsuits, Beef released two separate apology videos. In her statement, she claimed she saw the image on another platform and had no prior knowledge of Nkubi or who his daughter was.
Despite her public apology, online anger persisted, and social media users continued to be responsible for offensive posts.
Since then, her apology video has circulated online, sparking further debate on responsible social media use.
