The Lagos State Government has sealed the Westbrook Mall in Lekki and arrested 24 people for violating government orders.
State Environmental and Water Resources Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab revealed this today in the X handling on April 3.
the Commissioner wrote;
“The management of the sequel Westbrook Mall violated and broke the state seal order twice, with joint LSWMO and KAI law enforcement exercises at the facility on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
Actions taken
– 24 people were arrested and prosecuted
– Property has been resealed
The property will also be required to pay all necessary fines in accordance with state law. ”
