
Agents from the Ikorodu command of the Lagos State Neighborhood Security Department arrested two thieves while trying to get rid of stolen items in the state.
The culprits, Olamilekan Adumobi 21 (m) from Bode-Olude, Abeokuta, Ogun State and his accomplishment, Jabir (m) who claimed to be a crap dealer from Katsina state, were arrested by the officers at about 1400hrs on March 31, 2025, in front of the Central Mosque on Kazeem Arulogun Street.
The two suspects were then taken to the Ikorodu command office in Ita-Elewa, where they admitted to stealing five cutting discs, two welding tongs, five angled iron and a hammer.
Among the owners of Abule Balogun’s belongings and properties in Eruwen, the thief was associated with the thief on the phone to report to the office.
At the command base, barrister Ade Adeshina (field owner) and Rev. Talabi Adegbenro are welders and owners, and the owner of the stolen items refuses to file charges on sympathetic grounds.
However, the suspect was forced to write a promise to not engage in such behavior again until release.
Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, general manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Security Bureau, praised the officer for being alert, warned criminals to stay away from Lagos State as the agency’s company is committed to getting rid of all criminals.
