Human rights activists and senior special assistants to civil society and youth, mobilizing to Delta State Governor Harrison Gwamnishu, have advised people to step out of abusive marriages.
He said in response to the allegations that Shimite Bello Love, the husband of Shimite Bello Love, the special counsel for the super-large state governor, allegedly behind her D3ATH.
Shimite died in the early morning of Easter on Monday, April 21, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Asaba, where he was taken to receive medical treatment.
According to the collection, Shimite’s body was found after the maid called her brother and expressed concern that her husband would lock her in the house all day.
Her brother rushed over and found her in the room, foam already floating out of her mouth.
He took her to the hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival.
