The Oxen State local government has experienced a fatal crisis, claiming that Remi Abass’s life was the fired chairman of the Ivor local government.
Yabas was killed by unknown gun pistols in the Secretariat of the Local Government on Monday.
According to witnesses, the attackers stormed the Secretariat in broad daylight, firing multiple gunfires.

“It’s sudden and chaotic. People are running for safety,” said the local resident who asked to be anonymous.
The Oxen State Police Department confirmed the incident and pointed out that the investigation had begun.
“We are working to arrest the perpetrators and restore peace in the area,” said police public relations officer SP Yemisi Opalola.
Yayan was elected as the chairman of local government on all Progressive Conferences (APC) platforms and was fired by the Federal High Court in November 2022.

Meanwhile, in a related incident in Boripe LGA, two people (EGE and Igara) were also killed, while photographer Yinka was shot and was in critical condition.
This situation caused panic in the area, with residents scrambling for safety.
Ege recently defected from the APC to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and is the only son of his parents and his father is also a member of the PDP.
