Major Jonathan burst into tears as he confirms that he and Meagan Good are married (video)

Major Jonathan, 35, confirmed his marriage to Meagan Good, 43.

On Wednesday, March 19, he confirmed that he had been married secretly and talked about their wedding when he promoted his new movie, The Magazine Dreams, on Sherri.

Host Sherri Shepherd, 57, told the 35-year-old actor she knew he had “find love” as 43, but he reportedly ended the knot on Tuesday, March 18.

“I said to Megan yesterday, I said, ‘Today is probably the happiest day of my life,’” the major said, starting to tear it up. “I love that woman very much. So what’s going on – Well, Lord, Thank you. We’re in love.”

He added: “We finally have to do that, but it’s always a plan.”

The Creed Three star noted that he received his father-in-law’s blessing before he made up his mind to say “I do.”

“I asked her father’s permission…if it was OK, and he said, ‘That’s so cool,’” the professional shared. “It’s a longer conversation. So it’s always the plan.”

The major’s mother presided over the ceremony.

“My mother is here. Mother is a pastor and she comes from Dallas where I come from,” Majors said. “We asked my mom to come and she came to Los Angeles for screening [of Magazine Dreams]. My mother has never been to one of my screenings. We’ve told her, “Hey, we’re going to do this.” We did it. My mother married us yesterday. Her mother was there. ”

“We had these rings and after I talked to my father again, we carved them in Hawaii,” Majors explained.
