Mrs. Nonye Frances Soludo, wife of Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo, issued a stern warning to former Senator Uche Ekwunife, accusing her of launching a baseless attack on the Soludo family.
In a statement released on Saturday, the first lady described the allegations against her, her husband and their children as malicious and unacceptable. She said the situation has “out of limits” and will no longer be ignored.
“This is someone I hosted and cooked with her children a few times. To make her invent harmful claims that are not provocative to me and my family, it shows a dangerous level of despair,” Mrs. Sorudo said.
72 hours last pass
The governor’s wife claims Ekwunife is developing a political strategy to discredit opponents’ families. She asked the former MP to withdraw her statement within 72 hours and apologize to the public within 72 hours, noting that her legal team has been alerted.
Mrs. Sorudor also challenged Ekwunife to be sworn in before the sacrament of the Catholic Cathedral and further advised their children to undergo paternity tests at London-accredited hospitals, with Ekwunife covering all costs.
“I am proud of my chastity. At the age of 55, I knew only one husband, Chukwuma Soludo. When a woman grew up in a strict Catholic family, I urge you to do the same.” She announced.
The first lady stressed that she lived a private, decent life without relying on public funds, adding that her 33-year marriage was built on loyalty.
Refuted Ekwo’s comment was “a childish emotional outbreak,She insisted that her husband was “too upright, too decent, too sophisticated to waste his energy on such distractions.”
