Edo State Police Command has arrested a 34-year-old man, Iyayi Omokaro, allegedly his brother, Omokaro on Friday.
A spokesperson for Command CSP Moses Joel Yamu revealed this in a statement Thursday, March 27, 2025.
According to PPRO, the suspect invaded D3ATH with his brother on Tuesday, March 25.
Yamu revealed that Iyayi had a misunderstanding with his brother on Friday, and in the process, he used a scimitar to cut the dead into D3ATH.
“About 1530 hours on March 25, 20125, a report was received from a camp in Uzara community involving the killing of Omokaro, a 38-year-old, on Friday.
“Preliminary investigations show that the deceased, Omokaro was 38 on Friday, and his brother Iyayi Omokaro was 34, causing a misunderstanding, leading to the fight during the fight, Iyayi Omokaro used Cutlass and attacked his brother to D3ATH with Cutlass.
The spokesman said Oyayi had been arrested and detained for investigation.
